Approaching One Year of the Pandemic

On March 16, 2020 we closed the physical Samaritans offices for what we hoped would be a couple of weeks, a month, maybe two at the most.

As we approach the one-year anniversary that set off this infamous time for us as individuals, as an organization, and beyond, I continue to find myself in awe of our community:

  • To our team: Your dedication, collaboration, and commitment is spectacular.
  • To our volunteers: Your devotion to those we serve is outstanding – truly nothing short of outstanding.
  • To our donors and sponsors: Your support to ensure our services, when truly never needed more than now, is inspiring.
  • To our Board and Council members: Your partnership and enthusiasm is paramount.

To our callers, attendees, and participants, thank you for your patience, your trust in us, and especially your courage. You are at the center of everything we do. You are in our hearts every day, whether we are on West St. or in home offices. Please know that you are never alone – we will always be here for you, no matter the circumstances.
