Together, we can break the stigma associated with suicide and mental health struggles. There are many meaningful ways for you to get involved with Samaritans:

Schedule a free workshop to learn the warning signs of suicide and raise mental health awareness in your community.

Volunteer with us to support those who are struggling and further our reach:

  • Volunteer on our 24/7 Helpline
  • Youth volunteers can volunteer with Hey Sam, our mental health support textline for young people
  • Suicide loss survivors can get trained to facilitate grief support meetings
  • Lend a helping hand during our major events

Become a HopeRaiser — host your own fundraiser to raise funds for Samaritans. Get creative and support our work in ways that reflect your personality and interests — for instance, hosting a dance-a-thon fundraiser.

Getting involved with Samaritans is a life-changing opportunity to help others in your community. We’re grateful for your support and interest.

“My volunteer work at Samaritans has absolutely changed not only the way I see the world, but also the ways that I interact with the people around me.”
