Findley Montgomery (she/her)

Findley joined Samaritans as a Volunteer Coordinator for Training in October 2019. She comes to us all the way from the beautiful mountains of North Carolina and has spent the past year with Mental Health of America of Greenville County as a part of AmeriCorps in the Upstate of South Carolina. Findley was a political science major at University of North Carolina at Asheville before spending a year abroad in Madrid, teaching English. In her spare time, she enjoys a good book (she’s currently reading The Prince of Tides by Pat Conroy and her favorite books are Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens and Just Mercy by Bryan Stevenson), time outdoors, yoga and, thanks to her stint abroad in Spain, she very much appreciates a good siesta! Fellow dog-lovers will be glad to know that she is happy to share adorable pictures of her beloved boxer/lab/pit mix Samson, who thankfully joined her on her 17-hour drive up from South Carolina to Boston!
