I’m the girl half of Karson & Kennedy you hear every weekday morning from 5:30-10 on Mix 104.1. I grew up in suburban Chicago and graduated from Drake University with a double major in Theater and Psychology. My career brought me here to Boston, by way of Tucson, AZ; Tallahassee, FL; and Memphis, TN. I live with mental illness, including bipolar disorder, and I use my time behind a microphone to fight fiercely to stop the stigma that goes hand in hand with mental illness. I have not been a CEO, worked anywhere you had to wear a suit, and honestly do not know why I was asked to be on this Board – but I am ready to help the mission and show people there is hope when they feel hopeless. I live in Eastie with my dog, Elvis, the most stable man in my life.
