Join the Samaritans Boston Marathon Team

Samaritans, Inc. is so honored to have been chosen as a partner for the 2024 Bank of America Boston Marathon Official Charity Program!

As a member of Team Samaritans you will take on the world’s most prestigious marathon in support of suicide prevention. All applicants will be evaluated based on their connection to Samaritans and suicide prevention, their running history and ability, and their fundraising plan. The minimum fundraising commitment is $10,000/runner. Team members will receive support and guidance from Samaritans for both fundraising and training.

As this is a competitive selection process, please be sure to complete every answer. After submitting, you should be redirected to pay your $26 application fee. If you do not receive a confirmation or if you have any questions, please email Mackenzie Morse at mmorse@samaritanshope.org

As part of Samaritans Marathon Team you will receive:

  • Running Singlet and other Samaritans Team gear
  • Official 2024 Boston Marathon® medal
  • Team Meet and Greet Video Call
  • Fundraising Support
  • Access to Marathon Training Program with Acclaimed Training Coach, John Furey

Once you have completed the application, you will be redirected to a website to pay a one-time, $26 application fee. Applicants will only be considered for Team Samaritans once the fee has been paid.

Samaritans is proud to be an official Partner with Bank of America’s Official Boston Marathon Charity Program. The Non-Profit Program provides over 1,000 Boston Marathon® bibs to select non-profit organizations throughout the community, which provides organizations with a significant fundraising opportunity.
