Team Samaritans Applications
The Boston Marathon 2026 Applications are now closed. Applicants will be notified on or by October 27th. Thank you for your patience as we review all applications events@samaritanshope.org.
Members of Team Samaritans receive:
- Team Samaritans gear, including a singlet and long sleeve running shirt
- Pre-marathon dinner in Boston on marathon weekend
- Fundraising and social media support
- Access to Marathon Training Program with Acclaimed Training Coach, John Furey
- Free in-person training will be offered to Massachusetts team members, and a virtual option will be offered to those outside of Massachusetts.
- Official 2026 Boston Marathon medal upon completion of the race
The selection of runners for Samaritans Marathon Teams is competitive. Applications are evaluated based on each applicant’s proposed fundraising commitment/plan, personal story, connection to the organization and mission, and commitment to completing the marathon.
Bank of America Boston Marathon Official Charity Program
Samaritans is proud to be an official Partner with 2026 Bank of America Boston Marathon Official Charity Program. The Non-Profit Program provides over 1,000 Boston Marathon® bibs to select non-profit organizations throughout the community, which provides organizations with a significant fundraising opportunity.
