We have made the difficult decision to go fully virtual for this year’s 5K Run/Walk for Suicide Prevention on 9/25.
After weeks of thinking, planning, researching, following numbers and more, we have made the difficult decision to go fully virtual for this year’s 5K Run/Walk of Suicide Prevention on 9/25. The safety of our participants, volunteers and staff is critically important and we felt our responsibility to mitigate the risk of Covid transmission with the rise of the Delta variant.
We would love for you to you participate in our Why Do You 5K Video & Virtual Ribbon Wall! We will be releasing the Why Do You 5K video on 9/25 and it would mean so much to us if you submitted a video (a short & sweet answer to the question – Why do you participate in the 5K?).
September 25th will still be an incredible day filled with some live elements & surprises! We are excited to make this event a time of vibrant community building while supporting and celebrating our loved ones.
With your help, we can still register individuals, build teams, train & fundraise and by working together, we know we can reach our goal of $610,000!
We want to thank each and every one of you for your generosity and continued support of Samaritans’ mission. Thank you for your flexibility and patience during these uncertain times. We could not do this event without you!
If you have any questions at all, please contact Special Events Manager, Elizabeth Rabinovitch at [email protected].
Many thanks for all that you do for Samaritans, and making our programs possible.
