During this presentation, the Community Education and Outreach team will spend time talking about the complexities that exist when talking to younger individuals about suicide and mental health, despite the fact that young people die by suicide at a rate much higher than almost any other population. This presentation will highlight statistics and skills that may be especially pertinent for the youth population. This training is useful for both caregivers to younger populations, and to those interested in the connection between youth and mental health, especially during this time.
