The Samaritans Life Saving Society is a special group of dedicated donors who contribute $1,000 or more annually to support our suicide prevention work. Our programs include crisis services, educational workshops, and peer support groups for those impacted by suicide. Live Saving Society members help ensure that our services remain accessible and free of charge to all who need them.

Margaret Stewart Lindsay Giving Circle
The Margaret Stewart Lindsay Giving Circle recognizes those who give $50,000 or more to Samaritans. The Circle was founded in 2024 in honor of Margaret’s empathy and in recognition of the longstanding support Samaritans has received from the Margaret Stewart Lindsay Foundation. Members of the Giving Circle are also members of the Life Saving Society.
Margaret Stewart Lindsay was known for her warm spirit, genuine kindness, and deep compassion. Margaret’s life was deeply impacted by the loss of her father to suicide when she was just 14. She faced personal struggles, including periods of depression, yet she never lost her infectious sense of humor or her zest for life. She had an extraordinary gift for helping others—whether friends or strangers—always extending her heart to those in need.
