How to Make a Gift of Stock
To make a gift of stock to Samaritans, please notify us of your intended gift so that we can monitor the transfer. This also helps us to make sure the funds are correctly allocated. Please notify Janet Lawn, Chief Development Officer, at (617) 536-2460 x5223.
We will then give you the account number for the Samaritans Vanguard brokerage account. After you’ve notified us, have your broker transfer the securities electronically to the Samaritans brokerage account.
We will notify you when the gift has been completed, and you will receive a written acknowledgment of your contribution by mail.
