Introducing New Fundraising Staff: Kristine Poirier & Elizabeth Rabinovitch

Kristine Poirier (she/her)
Kristine Poirier joined Samaritans in February 2021 as our Deputy Director of Development. Prior to joining Samaritans, Kristine worked for non-profit organizations for 9 years and was previously a business owner. She is really excited to be a part of the Samaritans community. Kristine has three kids and loves to run, read, travel, and spend time at the beach.

Elizabeth Rabinovitch (she/her)
Elizabeth joined Samaritans in March 2021 as our Special Events Manager.  A Rhode Island native, Elizabeth worked in New York City for over a decade as a digital marketer, event planner, and fundraiser when her gut took her to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. She then transitioned into community development work and most recently managing safari lodges in Madagascar and Uganda. She made the mighty and very lucky return to the United States with her new husband from Zimbabwe in the midst of the global pandemic. She also teaches Beginner English to new Bostonians.  She is thrilled to be back in America to enjoy all the best things – internet, guacamole, and Dunkins!
