DESCRIPTION:Losing someone to suicide is a painful and difficult experience. Samaritans SafePlace meetings provide a forum for suicide loss survivors to explore feelings not often understood by others. Meetings are facilitated by trained volunteers who have lost someone to suicide. \nSafePlace is not a professional therapy group\, but rather a peer support group offering nonjudgmental listening\, peer connection\, and shared understanding. It offers a chance to share helpful resources\, and to give and get support through the long process of grieving.
