DESCRIPTION:Losing someone to suicide is a painful and difficult experience. Samaritans SafePlace meetings provide a forum for suicide loss survivors to explore feelings not often understood by others. Meetings are facilitated by trained volunteers who have lost someone to suicide. \nSafePlace is not a professional therapy group\, but rather a peer support group offering nonjudgmental listening\, peer connection\, and shared understanding. It offers a chance to share helpful resources\, and to give and get support through the long process of grieving. Meetings are free\, ongoing\, and drop-in. \n\nMeetings are held: \n\n\n\n\nFirst Wednesday of every month\n\n\n\n7:00 pm – 8:30 pm ET\n\n\n\n6 Chestnut St\, Boston MA 01208\n\nSamaritans SafePlace groups are open anyone\, to regardless of race\, ethnicity\, age\, gender\, religion\, sexual orientation\, gender identity\, gender expression\, disability\, economic status and other diverse backgrounds. \nRSVP \n
