Samaritans 5K Run/Walk: Join us to Remember
The Samaritans 5K Run/Walk and Family Fun Festival is back for its twelfth year to raise awareness and funds for suicide prevention in Greater Boston and Metrowest.
When: Saturday, October 2, 2010
Time: Registration opens at 8am. Run/Walk begins at 10am.
Where: DCR's Artesani Park in Brighton, MA along the Charles River
What: The Samaritans 5K Run/Walk is an annual fundraiser to benefit the work of Samaritans, a non-profit organization dedicated to reducing the incidence of suicide. Last year, more than 1,500 participants attended the event, and together raised more than $200,000 for Samaritans' life-saving services.

Fundraiser - Once you have registered, ask others to support your 5K efforts by donating to the cause. Please consider creating a personal fundraising webpage - it's free and makes collecting donations very easy!
Buy Raffle Tickets - 5K Raffle tickets can be purchased in advance online at our ticket counter. This year's top prize is a pair of Premium Red Sox Tickets to a 2011 game! Raffle participants do not need to be present at the 5K to win, although we hope to see you there!

Bring your family to the Fun Festival - We will have a moon bounce, face painting, t-shirt tie-dye and of course, the kid's race for the little ones.
