Over 30 Years of Befriending to the Greater Boston and Metrowest Communities

Samaritans, Inc. is a non-denominational, not-for-profit volunteer organization dedicated to reducing the incidence of suicide by befriending individuals in crisis and educating the community about effective prevention strategies.

24-Hour Befriending Service

The Samaritans provides a free and confidential 24-hour phone befriending line (617-247-0220) in Boston and (508-875-4500) in Framingham. This unique service, staffed by trained volunteers, provides unconditional and non-judgmental support to those who are alone, depressed or in crisis. Or you can reach us toll-free at (877-870-HOPE (4673).

Samariteens

Grief Support Services
